although I don’t really know
why I’m called that.I’m really not
that bad, I just do bad things when
I get really mad, and can’t control
myself. Anyways, here’s my story and
how I got my happily ever after.

three little pig’s house for the third time
that month. That brick house gets me every
time. You see, I wouldn’t even try to blow
their houses down if they would just be my
friend, I walk over there, say hi, then they
run away from me. I say nice things,
try to get them to be my friend. But no,
they think I’m a really scary wolf that’s
going to eat them! How frustrating!

I hear a chopping sound, that could only
mean one thing… The Woodcutter! Oh no!
That guy has been after me forever. He
thinks I’m a really bad wolf, and I should
be punished. I didn’t do anything wrong! I want
to get a closer look at him though. I like to know
what I’m running from, I never get a good look
at him when I’m running away from him.

trying not to crunch leaves, when
I find him. I stop dead
in my tracks, I know I should keep
moving, to at least find a hiding spot,
but for some reason my legs won’t
move. If he turns a little bit, I will be
right in front of him. MOVE WOLF,
MOVE! He turns, and looks straight at me!

5

I can’t jump over him, last time I did that,
I was nearly cut from my stomach to
my toes. That would have hurt. I realize
what I have to do. Just as he starts
to come at me with his huge axe, I dive
to the right and I run, as fast as I
possibly can. After about five minutes,
his shouts become quieter and quieter until
I can’t hear them anymore, which means,
he’s given up, or I lost him.
6

I slowly walk, and soon I find a pond and some willow trees swaying in the wind. I nearly fall in the
pond just to get a refreshing drink of water. Once i’m no longer wheezing, I lay up against one of the
trees. I hear birds chirping, and it’s like a little oasis in such a huge, dark forest.

and she’s singing. At first I think I’m going crazy, but then I listen closer. I realize that
it’s not too far away. Maybe she hasn’t heard about me. I could make a friend and prove
to everyone that I’m okay.

but that’s okay if that means I could make a friend. I start to
walk back in the forest, I have to go deeper, and deeper into the
forest. I start running.

are getting thicker and it’s getting harder to maneuver
around them. After a while the singing gets louder
and louder. Finally I pop out of the woods and land on
a pathway. I look up and there standing in front of me
is a little girl with a dark red hood on.

she’s thinking. She thinks I’m going to eat her. I don’t want her to think that.
I want her to be my friend. I realize I’m breathing heavy again.

I need something to drink”. She said, “Oh?” Then pulled a
bottle of water out of the weaved basket she was holding.
Once my thirst was gone, I told her " I'm not going to hurt you"
Then I saw her face relax.

“ I just want a friend, but whenever someone runs away from
me because they think I’m going to eat them, I get really mad,
and can’t control myself. But then I heard you singing, and I
wanted to meet you. Please don’t be afraid.”

13

Well I can be your friend, as long as you promise not to hurt me” “I promise”
With that I became very excited and wanted to show her something special.
I let her climb onto my back and I started to head back into the forest.
14

I didn’t run as fast since she was on my back. When
we got there I took another long drink from the pond. Then we sat
under one of the willows and played with the swaying branches.

young kids, and others. Stories have been written about me,
but they’ve been twisted from a certain point of view to make me look bad.

misunderstood”. I was delighted to hear that from my
new friend. I asked if she wanted to go for a swim.
The sun was at it’s highest point taking the heat up a
notch. She said yes.

17

Then I ran through the branches and jumped into the pond with
a huge SPLASH! We poured water on ourselves, and had contests
to see who could hold their breaths the longest.
