One sunny day, 12 year old Zakron Striker
walked home from school. Zak was worried.
He never made it home without getting
bullied. Zak was normally nice, but when
he got bullied things got nasty. He had black
hair and blue eyes. Zak was also short and
scrawny, but he sure could pack a punch. Then
Zakron saw Ben, his school's worst bully. Zak
gulped. This could possibly be the worst day of his
life.

Ben was as big as a bull with fists as big as
frying pans. As far as Zak knew, Ben was
always angry. Suddenly Ben threw a fist at
Zak's face. Zak barely dodged it. Then Zak
quickly punched Ben in the gut. Ben roared
with anger and pushed Zak into a big puddle of
mud. Before Zak could think, Ben gave him
one last kick and took off.

Zak felt weak and humiliated. He was
muddy. He was smelly, but most of all he was
dissatisfied. He felt empty and all alone. Finally
Zak decided to go home. He got up, shook off
the mud, and went home.

Ring!

Later on, Zakron got home. He went right up to his
room. After changing his clothes, he flopped on his bed.
Suddenly Zak's mom burst into the room.
"Look at this!" Zak's mom said.
Zak looked at the small crystal ball resting in the palm
of his mom's hand.
"It was addressed to you." Zak's mom said.
Zak was confused and thought, why would it be
addressed to me?
Ring! Ring!
Zak's mom quickly put the ball in his hand and went to
get the phone.

Zak was studying the ball when his hands
went numb. Zak tried his best to hold onto the
ball, but he couldn't. The crystal ball fell to the
ground with a crash!
Zakron felt dizzy. Then he started spinning.
Before he knew it he was flying though the air!
Then everything was silent.

Zak opened his eyes. A person about the same size as
himself stood right in front of him. The figure picked him
up.
"NO man left behind!" the man shouted.
"Who are you?" Zak asked.
"My name is Blitz. But who are you? Why aren't you
wearing a space suit? Blitz said. Are you one of Virus's
men?"
"Virus? No!" Zak said, confused.
"Oh, I get it! Blitz exclaimed. You came from a different
realm! That's why we look the same! You are me in a
different time and space!"

"Um"... Zak started.
"I'd have more time if I wasn't planning an attack on
Virus's spaceship." Blitz continued.
"Spaceship?" Zak asked.
"We are in space!" Blitz answered.
"Okay, Zak said. I think I understand. But you keep
talking about Virus. Who is he?"
"Virus is my arch enemy for many reasons, Blitz said.
But enough of that! Let's prepare for the battle against
Virus!"
Blitz handed Zak a laser gun.
