In a world before humans and animals walked the
earth, they lived under the earth with their god
Kaang. Underneath this world was a magical place,
there was always sunlight despite there being no
sun, and there was always peace.
Soon Kaang became bored of the world and
began to plan the wonders he would put into
the world. Kaang grew a wondrous tree, and
at the base of the tree he dug a hole all the
way down to where the people and animals
lived.
Kaang began to furnish the world the way he
wanted to. The first man was pulled up from
the hole and soon after the first women arose.
Suddenly everyone gathered around the base
of the tree in shock and awe at the new world.
Kaang gave the people and animals orders to
live peacefully and to not make fire or else a
great evil would befall them. Kanng then left to
watch his world in secrecy.
The sun began to set and the humans
began to worry because they could not see and
they struggled to stay warm.
Then a human suggested they start a fire to
stay warm.
The humans broke Kaang's rule and he
punished them by removing the ability to talk
animals.
The fire then frightened the animals and they
left the humans and scattered all across the
world taking shelter in trees and caves.
The humans were left to them selves to life
peacefully for the rest of eternity.
