      It was this day...I knew something was 

wrong. I was sitting at the playground with my 

friend, Lydia. All of a sudden I felt the ground 

shake and everything started moving. At first I 

thought it was my imagination, but then I 

realize it was an actually earthquake and not 

just me seeing things. This is a story of the 

day I survived an earthquake. 

When I first felt the shaking of the ground I 

just thought it was fake at first. After awhile of 

it I realized it was a real earthquake and 

panicked. I didn't know what to do and 

thought of the end of the world. Pretty silly 

right?

No matter how much you get scared you need 

to always remember to stay calm. If you panic 

then you can get hurt. The way I survived was 

that I hid under a stable table. You can either 

go to a door way or under stable table or desk. 

Do not go any where were there is things that 

can fall on you. You always need a safety kit 

close by to grab.
