Rosa Louise McCauley Parks was 92 when she died. She was born in 1913 and died in 2005. Her race was South African. That means that she was a black woman. The day that she went on the bus, December 1st, 1955, she experienced a new life. This act took place in Montgomery, Alabama. When she paid her dues and stepped onto the bus, she sat on the correct, black person, seat. When a white person arrived on the bus, there was no more white people seats. Parks was asked to move. She refused to move, because it is not for them to take. That was the day she became the famous Rosa Parks.
