Dear Diary, 2nd March
Unfortunately, I couldn't go on holiday as I planned. Last night , a precious necklace was stolen from eTwinning Museum and I have to work on it. It is really a strange case. The clues are a banana peel and a note with weird numbers on it. Let's try to solve the case and find the thief.

Dear Diary, 5th March
Sorry for not writing for a few days. You know I was
investigating the stolen necklace. I solved the puzzle
and went to Bursa, Turkey, to catch the thief. Bursa was a beautiful city. While I was chasing the thief I had a chance to visit and learn about Bursa. I went to Ulu Mountain, a wonderful ski resort, visited Cumalıkızık which was an old village with ancient houses, and a clock tower at Tophane. The scenery was amazing!
I also visited a hammam. Bursa is famous for its
natural springs and baths. It was refreshing. Do you know Karagöz Museum? It is a shadow puppet theatre,
I watched the play, it was really fun, I laughed a lot.
Both Karagöz and Hacivat characters were great!
I also had a chance to taste its traditional meal İskender Kebab. It was delicious! :) To tell the truth, while searching for the necklace I learnt and experienced a lot in Bursa. I bought a postcard and some souvenirs as well !
Here are the postcard and souvenirs I bought from there. Aren't they fantastic! Hope to visit
Bursa again in future1
Dear Diary, 8th March
I last wrote you on 5th March. You know I was in Bursa and about to catch the thief but unfortunately I couldn't . I don't know but I believe he is crazy about banana and doesn't know how to write well as he always draws pictures. He left me a note and left for Romania. So my next stop was Romania.

Dear Diary, 14..th March
I last wrote you four days ago . Meanwhile, already being in Romania I went down , in southeastern area, in Giurgiu county. On my way to the town of Giurgiu I stopped in Comana Natural Park where I had a boat tour of Neajlov's Delta . Exquisite diversity of habitats form a unique mosaic due to which the area has been protected .
Secondary School " A.M.V.", Giurgiu, Romania
Then I went down to Giurgiu town where I ate some delicious fish in the old port and took a look at the Clock Tower built in the 18th century. I couls also have a glimpse at The Friendship Bridge built over the Danube allowing rail and road communication between Romania and Bulgaria. On the next page you have pictures from this area .

I have arrived in the city from the Black Sea coast and I stopped at the Casino.
I bought a postcard to send to my family and then I looked for clues to unravel the disappearance mystery of the necklace wasn’t so lucky.

Instead, I discovered a traditional Romanian custom: martisorIn popular belief, it symbolizes the rope of the year that gathers, by weaving the two threads, the 365 calendar days. The colors white and red represent the two opposite seasons, winter and summer, which in the old traditional societies represented basic seasons.
Mărțișor is like a talisman.
I bought some to remind me of Romanians and Romania.

I last wrote on 14th March while I was in Romania, which it really was wonderful.
I decided to spend some days in a place with warm weather and mediterranean food, so I took a flight to Alicante, spain.
I visited San Juan beach and I could walk barefoot on it enjoying the sand and the fresh water on my feet.
It was a relaxing experience!
I could have time to think about
the thief and his tricks.

Then, I had lunch a tasty paella, which is the more typical food in this Community. It is based on rice, vegetales and meat. Finally I could try the most sweet dessert called torrijas. It was a sílice of bread with milk, ego and cinnamon.
Obviously, I needed to have a walk, so I visited the popular market which is located on the streets. It is plenty of beautiful handicrafts. I really was fascinated. TRying to catch the thief was giving me the chance to know spectacular countries. Ready to continue with my trip!

Dear Diary, ...29 th March
I took the train back to Volos and went straight to the Clock Tower of Saint Konstantinos' church at the end of Volos Port promenade.Looking around for a clue, I saw the photo of a ship on the ground and the word 'Argo' written on it.
Dear Diary, ..29. th March
Searching for information on the internet in my mobile phone I found that it was 'Jason's ' ship. Jason is a hero of the Geek Mythology who was famed for his expedition with the Argonauts(the sailors on the ship)in search of the Golden Fleece- a precious object ,kept in Kolchis-Georgia today,on the Black Sea.
Dear Diary, ..29th March
When I reached 'Argo' I found an envelope hanging on one of the oars.Opened it and read the message written..'Meet me at the Archaeological Museum of Volos.
Dear Diary, ...29 th March
Looking for clues I arrived at the Museum, but no luck as that day it was closed for the public. All of a sudden a roving vendor of souvenirs told me that there was a unique exhibit just opposite the Archaeological Museum at Anavros' park..the replica of 'The First Man's House' made of straw and clay, dating back to the Neolithic age.
Dear Diary, ... 29th March
At least I found some souvenirs to buy, and chose an evil eye ward ,worry beads and leather sandals to put on, to remind me of my journey to Volos.Tired and disappointed for not finding the thief of the stolen Necklace, the next day decided to take the plane to …

Dear Diary, 1st April
Dear diary, I know I haven’t written for so long, but I’ve spent much time trying to find the necklace that had been stolen from the eTwinning museum.I’ve been to so many places. The last one I visited was the island of Chios in north Aegean Sea in Greece.Such a wonderful holiday destination! I've been to the castle in the centre of the town, the Kampos of Chios with the marvellous citrus orchards and old mansions of fantastic architecture.
I travelled to the villages of mastic trees, Pyrgi and Mesta and found out a lot about the unique products of mastic in the Mastic Museum. The Monastery of Nea Moni, the village of Anavatos and Agio Galas with the little chapel in a cave took my breath away.
6th grade pupils,School Centre of Kampochora, Chios Greece
In the village of Volissos I admired the view of its castle ,while I also went hiking along the Kampia Gorge and then learnt about the history of the island and its tradition thanks to my visit to the Koraes Library downtown. The hospitality of the locals was very touching! As for the local dishes…I defineitely have to learn how to make my own massourakia, a sweet treat I can never resist from now on.
I also know which image I will bring to mind every time I want to relax; that of Mavra Volia, the beach with the black pebbles. I promised myself that I will go back there soon...
Dear Diary, April 2, 2022
In search of the stolen necklace, I found myself wandering the alleys of some unique and beautiful Greek villages. The region in which they are located is called "Zagori".
I spent a lot of time searching for evidence, crossing the stone streets, between the houses and the churches of traditional architecture.
Arsakeio Secondary School Of Ioannina / Greece
I was enchanted by the sounds of nature, walking on the arched bridges. I enjoyed the local cuisine and the hospitality of the locals.
Later, I headed to the city center of Ioannina. I took the boat in order to continue the search for the necklace on the small island of the 'Pamvotis' lake. The view of the crossing was stunning. On the one hand, Ioannina with its imposing castle and the Aslan mosque that stretch away and on the other the verdant island that approaches. And the mountains, all around, close the horizon.
The feeling of time travel accompanied me on my tour of the island. The walk in the alleys that are formed between the traditional stone houses of Epirus construction was enchanting. The folk art shops in combination with the small traditional taverns took me to old times.
Unfortunately, my research yielded some information, but it did not lead me to the solution of the mystery with the stolen necklace. So I decided to keep the beautiful memories from my recent trip and head to a new destination.
Dear Diary, 6th April
Today was an interesting day. Now, we are at the place we started. We found the necklace in its stolen place. The naughty monkey brought it back :) It was really strange but fun. I travelled around Europe and had great experience. It was unforgetable !
