Once upon a time, their was a very smart, deceiving tortoise. The tortoise heard of a party in the sky that some birds were having. There was said to be a big feast for all that came.

The tortoise asked the birds if he could join them while they feasted up in the sky. Although the birds knew the tortoise was sneaky and probably plotting to do something, the tortoise convinced them to each give the tortoise a feather, with which the tortoise made himself wings.

I've changed I promise! Please give me your feathers!

With his wings, the tortoise could now fly into the clouds and join the birds in their feast! But first, he had to tell the birds something very important.
I have something important to tell you guys!!

I will now be called "All of you". In different cultures people take up new names when joining a new group of people, therefore my name will now be all of you

Wow! You really have changed! We think of you now as king of all birds!

The Tortoise gave a very convincing speech about how he's changed and appreciates the bird's kindness. The birds now viewed him as king of all birds.

The food was served and the tortoise asked who the food was for? The server replied "all of you". The tortoise reminded the birds "Remember my name is all you, and the custom is that the spokesperson is served first." The birds then preceded to serve the tortoise food. After the tortoise had eaten all the good food and two pots of palm wine, he was full. The rest of the birds were left with the worst of the food, and scraps of the good food. Understandably they were very angry towards the tortoise, as they realized he had lied to them. Each bird took a feather back from the tortoise, so that the tortoise couldn't fly safely back down to the ground.
