Dedicated to my childhood friends
of Dover, New Hampshire.
With our magical imagination
anything was possible!
We just had to believe.
And we did.

Robin and Troy had been friends since
they were old enough to walk.
And as soon as they could walk,
they ran.
They ran through the country woods of
Dover, New Hampshire.
They ran along the streams and logging trails.
They ran through the Autumn leaves and Winter snow. Anything was possible when they were together.
Life was magical.

They were explorers finding relics from the past. A logging trail was a time capsule of old racing cars. Together they would climb into the front seats and pretend to drive.

One day, as they played by a creek, they discovered an arrowhead thousands of years old. To touch something so old inspired them to make their own bow and arrows using sticks and string and pretend to hunt.

One Summer day the two friends rode their bicycles to Willand Pond. It was a great place to explore in the Summer and in the Winter, when the pond froze over, they would snowmobile across the pond.
8
It was here where they found the most exciting treasure of all!
But what was it?
9
10
Was it an old jail?
Was it a well?
No, that was too boring their imagination told them. It had to be something amazing.
As they walked closer both felt
fear and excitement.
What if they were the first to find this place?
Never before had they seen
a structure like this.

What if they were captured
and
held in this place?
Did somebody live there
and
live in the hole inside?
Their excitement was stronger than their fear
AND
the two friends
Entered!
