My Best Friend
By: Valaysha Adams
Beautiful
Encourages me to do my best
She cheers me up when I am down
Tells me I can do it when I say I can't
Friendly to a fault
Really nice to me
Is always there for me
Excited to teach me new things
Never will give up on you
Does not let me down

My Godad
By: Toby Gibson
My god dad was in my life from when
I was three months old
He died I was ten years old
His favorite football team was the
Dallas Cowboys then I started to like that team
I love when he took me everywhere I needed to go
he took me and his son to go get something to eat
I brought us shoes and clothes everyday
he took us to the fair and one of the
Dallas Cowboys football game and he took
us to the walk around the clock
A street festival

My Pastor Green
By: Kamryn Jackson
He changed my life
I love him like a uncle
He loves me like a daughter
Every time I go to church when I see
Him in the front teach I always get excited
When he be preaching to the church I can connect
With him so the lord can hear me with him
He is my vip because he will do anything to help
Someone with problems.

The Life of Mine
By: Luke Downs
In my life I believe that
Life is like a game of chess
and there can be anything happening at any time
and you could not know it until it happens.
You could be the best there is
but there is always something that can make you closer to loss in the game of life.
Most of the time the littlest pawn can make the victory happen
because everyone has a part in life.

My Uncle Tony
By: Malik Robertson
I was a young boy
He was a man of joy
He was someone close
When I turned he became a ghost
Next he was in my dreams
Giving me the power of a place to lean
It was a disease I had to help stop
When and if I get money it will drop
Like dead flies
And I will lose my loose ties
And leave all my worries behind

This Is Who I Am
By: JaQuan Bates
I’ve said this and that, without knowing the future
My life is like a horror movie, I don’t know what’s gonna happen next
But I always stand my ground, even when I go to bed at nighttime
Yet, this is who I am
I even try not to give up, even when I lose a bet
I’ve made bad decisions in my life, but who hasn’t
My life is no harder than a rock, but sometimes I feel it’s just a piece of cake
Yet, this is who I am
