Naruto is published in November 1999 by Shūeisha Publishing House in the Japanese weekly magazine Shōnen-Jump.

The play tells the story of a teenage ninja named Naruto Uzumaki, who aspires to become Hokage, leader of his village, in order to be recognized as someone important within the village and among his peers.

Naruto Uzumaki is strong, he is naughty, he is tall and his hair is yellow. His main aspiration and objective in life is to become the Hokage of his village.

Sasuke Uchiha is a serious boy, he is very skilled, he is tall, his eyes are black and his hair is short. He has great ability for the ninja arts, especially the fire style.

Sakura Haruno is generous, is very skilled, is tall, her eyes are green and her hair is pink. She possesses great ability for medicinal techniques.

Kakashi Hatake is the master, he is very skilled, he is tall, his eyes are black and his hair is gray. Kakashi has copied many techniques from other ninjas, which has earned him the nickname of the "Ninja who copies".

Naruto is happier than Sasuke but Sasuke is more intelligent than Naruto.

Sasuke is  as  powerful   as Naruto but Naruto is more famous than Sasuke.
