ANANSI AND THE CHAMELEON
SETTINGS:
West Africa
Anansi and the chameleon both lived in the same small town. The chameleon requires hard work in order to profit from his field while Anansi owned the best fields, thus making him rich.
Anansi's field is abundant due to the fact that it always had sun and rain to absorb from, making his field grow fresh crops.

The chameleon is not lucky with his field for the reason that it rarely ever received rain and absorbs too much sun making it dry.

One day, it changed. Anansi's field stopped receiving rain and the sun won't go away. The chameleon's field was visited by both the rain and the sun, making it abundant.
The Chameleon was happy with the events while Anansi find it unfair. He wanted to do something about it, like buying the land, but the Chameleon refuses.
Anansi was so persistent that he even involved the chief and convinced him that the Chameleon's land was actually owned by Anansi.
Anansi's footprints were found on the field while the Chameleon's footprints were not evident. The chief was convinced the field is owned by Anansi. The Chameleon was mad because he is the actual owner of the field and someone was trying to steal it away from him right before his eyes.

The Chameleon went home, dug a hole and made a beautiful cloak and used it to lure Anansi on giving back his land.
