In the small town of Kenansville, there was a small girl named, Lillian.  She was kind to everyone she met, and the people that lived there were kind too. She went to a small school, and her school had, NO BULLYING!

    On a Friday afternoon, after a fun day at school, her mother and father sat her down and explained, "Your father has been offered a new job in the BIG APPLE!" Lillian was 

       devastated! 

"NEW YORK!" she thought to herself, "this is terrible!"

She would have to leave her friends and move far away, but she was very happy for her father, and his new job.

    When they arrived in the 

Big Apple, Lillian could hardly believe her eyes. 

New York was so BIG,

and there were so   many people!                    

    Lillian was so excited her first day of school was only one day away! When the morning arrived, and she got to school, it was NOT at all what Lillian expected! There were kids yelling at other kids! There were kids pushing other kids! There were even kids BULLYING poor little Lillian! She was scared! She had never experienced bullying at her old school, so she did NOT know what to do.

    The next day was the same. At lunch, Lillian had no one to sit with, so the kids began teasing her.  "Hey look at the new kid!", they shouted.  "She looks weird", they laughed. Lillian said nothing.

    As the days passed, the bullying grew, and she found herself beginning to be MEAN too. Then a new kid came to school.  Her name was Betty Sue.  Normally, Lillian would be kind and helpful, but   NOT this time.  Lillian yelled, pushed, and teased poor little Betty Sue!
