The fossil record
A fossil record is a group of fossils that have been analyzed and have been chronologically organized. It also states that the fossils are found in layers of sedimentary. Fossil Records show the age of organisms, how they evolved, and how some species have gone extinct. The fossil record shows that the T-rex and other dinosaurs went extinct because of a meteor called the KT meteor.

Moros Intrepidus (moros)
Moros was the earliest form of a T-rex. It is also the smallest ancestor of a T-rex, being only about 170 pounds in weight and less than 5 feet tall. But don't let its short size fool you, being its nickname is the "Harbringer of doom". It could
achieve fast speeds
and hunt down much
larger herbivores such as
the stegosaurus. Not a ton
more is known about this
creature, because it was
only discovered in 2019.

Tarbosaurus Bataar (Tarbosaurus)
The Tarbosaurus is the closest known relative to the T-rex. The funny thing about this dinosaur, is its arms are even shorter than the T-rex! It was a lot bigger than its predecessor, being about 11,000 pounds at full size and being about and being about 39 feet long. It's skull is longer and more proportional
compared to the T-rex. When looked at its
skull, its eye sockets are farther back which
most likely meant for a less binocular vision
for the Tarbosaurus. Some paleontologists
have even thought that a Tarbosaurus was
just a juvenile T-rex.
