Venice, better known as Italian Venezia, is located in a city of major seaport, and capital of both the provincia (province) of Venezia and the regione (region) of Veneto, northern Italy. It is an island city.

How is the landscape?

Venice lies on an archipelago in the crescent-shaped Laguna Veneta (Venice Lagoon), which stretches some 32 miles (51 km) from the reclaimed marshes of Jesolo in the north to the drained lands beyond Chioggia at the southern end. The shallow waters of the lagoon are protected by a line of sandbanks, or lidi, whose three gaps, or porti, allow passage of the 3-foot (1-metre) tides and the city’s maritime traffic. On the sandbanks are many small settlements
What's the weather like?
Venice enjoys a relatively cool Mediterranean climate. Temperatures at the height of summer rarely exceed 32C, with the hottest months being July and August. The summer months also happen to be among the driest of the year too. The time of year with the most rain is usually the spring months of April and May. The coldest months are December and January, when the average temperatures languish in the single digits.

How is the landscape?
Aveiro is smaller than Venice, known for its canals and imminent growth. It also lies on an archipelago and along the sea and the estuary, the canals through which moliceiros boats pass cross Aveiro. These elongated and colorful boats were used to collect seaweed and sargassum. Aveiro has a collection of Art Nouveau buildings that are well worth seeing. Much of it is located along the main canal, but there are some off the beaten track and even in other locations.

La Tatacoa Desert (Colombia)

La Tatacoa Desert is the second largest dry area in Colombia after the desert of La Guajira, it is one of Colombia’s most attractive natural landscapes.It covers an area of 330 km² of gray and ochre soil interrupted by the green of the cactuses.

Wadi Rum (Jordania)


Wadi Rum, also known as the ‘’Valley of the Moon’’, is a desert region in southern Jordan, set on a high plateau at the western edge of the Arabian desert. that consists of a broad valley with extensive dunes and impressive rocky outcrops carved out over time by the eroding effects of water, wind and frost.

Wadi Rum is one of the world's most beautiful deserts. More than just a sea of rolling dunes, this protected wilderness near Jordan's southern border is made unique by the dramatic sandstone and basalt mountains jutting out of its sandy floor.


Wadi Rum has huge mountains of sandstone and granite that emerge, its narrow canyons and fissures cut deep into the mountains and many conceal ancient rock drawings etched by the peoples of the desert over millennia, the valleys are filled with red sand,
the Tatacoa desert is wetter while the Wadi Rum desert is drier.

August is the hottest month, with an average temperature of 34 degrees Celsius. During heat waves, temperatures can rise to over 40 degrees Celsius. With an average temperature of 14 degrees Celsius,
Meanwhile, in Wadi Rum January is the coldest month.

Khoboy (Rusia)


Cape Khoboy (from Buryat - "tusk") is a unique natural monument, which is located on the northern tip of the island of Olkhon, Russia. This place is remarkable for the fact that from a huge monolithic rock, the polyphonic sonorous echo is reflected in surprising sounds.




How is the landscape?
Cape Khoboy on Lake Baikal is a complex of picturesque rocks, originally covered in places with orange lichens. In some rocks there are unusual through holes and crevices, which give a special touch to this incredibly exotic place. This place is remarkable for its huge monolithic rock



What's the weather like?
The climate of Khoboy is colder than the one of Estaca de Bares, even when it is in the summer season its waters maintain cold weather, and by the time of March is when the weather is colder.

Estaca de Bares (Spain)




Estaca de Bares is a Spanish cape located in the municipality of Mañón, province of La Coruña, in the autonomous community of Galicia. It is part of the Atlantic coast of Spain, marking the conventional separation between the Cantabrian Sea to the east and the general oceanic mass of the Atlantic Ocean to the north and west.

How is the landscape?

Estaca de Bares is the most famous Cape of the Iberian Peninsula, it is in fact the northernmost point of the Iberian Peninsula, the Galician paradise it’s known for its wonderful landscapes crowned by its white sandy beaches and turquoise waters. The water of Estaca de Bares is clearer than Cape Khoboy’s water.


What's the weather like?
The climate of Estaca de Bares is warmer than the one of Khoboy, it maintains a radiant sun in summertime, in winter its waters freeze, this place is ideal to be able to know the nature of the Iberia.
