Now what is African Art? African Art, aka. Aboriginal Art originate from up to 24-27,000 from ancient Namibia. What type of arts are african arts? 

African arts include sculture, painting, pottery, rock art, textiles and masks.

These arts typically tend to be figurative respresentations of 3d humans, even if it embodies supernatural/divine beings.

Why is art important in the African Culture?

African arts emphasize the "importance of ancestors as intermediaries between the living, the gods, the supreme creator" and is commonly seen among them as a way to connect back to their deceased ancestors. 

It's thought that African arts also affected European Art in some ways.
