Spring

                                      Melting

      One warm Winter morning                    It hit the white snow

      The sun in the sky                                    With all its force and fiery

      Woke up from its snoring                       The process was not slow

      And its rays started to fly                       And it left the place a little eerie

                                   Puddles of cold water

                                             Decide to start helping

                                                  Winter to totter

                                     So, Spring can join with its melting

                                Warmth of the breeze

Back and forth, side to side

The wind takes the trees for a ride

It insists in blowing away

Anything that is in its way

Silently, wavily, warming me up

The breeze has way of making sadness blowup

The warmth of the wind and the warmth of the breeze

Blow all the pollen to make you sneeze

But the best part of all

Is the part when you call

For the Spring, warmth of the breeze

One warm Spring night                                                                            

The buds in the ground                                                 Blooming 

Started to show their light

The moon turned to sun

While watching the fun

Of the wonderful flowers all blooming

The trees touching the sky 

Began to start growing

Green leaves that could fly

The birds lifted their song

While they flew all day long

For their home, the trees, started blooming

The Song of Spring

Everything has a song,

Especially in Spring

The birds, oh yes, they can sing

But not the best song of all. 

This song is filled with love and joy,

That only these can sing, 

The trees, the wind, and the flowers all blooming

Can sing the song without a flaw

The song of Spring can lift all hearts

And make them sing it too

For it has no rhythm or beautiful tune

Its just the song of Spring

Sunshine

Bright and very warm,

Full of happiness and love,

Shines down upon you.

Something Different

April showers bring May flowers

It is one thing they say,

But one saying can always be different

For its early, in its own good way

February flowers bring March flowers

It’s the correct way to say it,

For something is new

The time has now come for Spring to come early and

Make something different.

Rain Shadow

Blue specks fall from the sky

Silently, slowly, as though they can fly

One sun ray, shines through a cloud

Casting a circular sun spot on the ground

A spotlight for the rain as it drops down

Lighting up the raindrops without a sound

A beautiful sight in the middle of the rain

If you don’t believe me, you must be insane!

The shadow of rain reflects in one place, so

Don’t miss it, the one-time rain shadow.

Spring has sprung with flowers blooming,

No more time for tears and glooming.                           Spring

Sun is shining through the shade, 

The birds are singing a joyful Ballade.

Caverns open and out come the bears,

Squirrels and groundhogs come out of their layers.

The grass has spread its green to the trees,

While buds all open making the leaves.

Spring is ready to bring its happiness,

Now you should spread your smile and its joyfulness!

Summer

Graduation Day!

Up comes the banner 

Up comes the stage

Quiet down the chatter

And open the page

Walk through the isle

And stand at the front

Stay there awhile

Then sing till you grunt

Give your bright parents 

A pretty smelly rose

Then hug your great grandparents

Till the sun loses its shadows

Dancing Clouds

Walk outside to have a break

I am skipping to the lake

Flop myself onto the grass

Not thinking of the hourglass

Watch the clouds go dancing past

1-2-3 not one is last

First see a soaring bird 

So free and without a word

Then see myself so beautiful

My time here is cheerful

Hot as a pot

It's a beautiful day

No need to worry 

Let's splash and play

Splashing in harmony

That's the tricky part

count to three then                         Splashing in Harmony

Sploosh 

Try it again

It's so much fun

One more time then

Dry in the sun

A sunshine ray

Will send

 A welcoming song

Of bluebird’s above

Making you long

For things made of love

Of wondrous things

The sweet smell of bouquets

Float through musical rings

OF HAPPINESs

                     Kitchen Dance

Mom opens the window                          Makes her dance on her toes

Then smells mistletoe                            The more she smells flowers

The birds are all chirping                          The more she'll keep twirling

So, mom starts the cooking                       So I turn up my nose

Mom gladly starts dancing                          And close all the windows

While the pancakes are baking                     Breakfast is now done

Then pours on some syrup                        Now made for just one

And leave them turned up

The smell in Mom’s nose

                                Summers Almost Over

Summer is almost over

oh, why does time go fast

But now I'll be a lover

Of school and the past

I loved to laugh and play

But now I'll be in school

Sitting there for half the day

Instead of playing in the pool

Fall

                                        Cooling down

After Summer comes the fall

Of leaves, rain, and the heat

Summer sweat will make you call

For weather cooler than concrete

The summer months all have gone by

It’s now time for bonfires, camping, and playing outside

The singing birds, away they fly

All in formation and ready for the ride

The full green trees are now all bare

Taking the warmth with them

The animals will now enter their layer

For it is now time for the coolness to come

The Night Out

One cold Fall night                                                                        On we ride at midnight

I traveled like a knight                                               To reach the end of darkness 

Through the darkness fog                                                     Reflecting off the waters

As hollow as a log                                                      The stars how bright they shine

  Sitting by the fire                                                        But the whole truth is unknown

   I hear the birds a lyre                                                 For the night out has vanished

   Silently, Expectantly,                            The secret lies in another dark Fall night

 Whispering the moon                                                                                                      Out alone

             Windy Winds                                        Summer is falling feverishly

                                                                                                While windy winds wave wavily

Leaves leave their lovely layers

For Fall is running its full course

 If you ask for words to describe

The winds that blow where Fall may abide

I will tell two or three 

Words full of alliteration

 Tumbling trash, raking rakes, 

Rushing rocks, and laughing lakes

Crazy clouds, little leaves,

Going Geese, and no short sleeves!

 This is the type of Fall

That Windy winds for all!

Red, yellow, orange, brown                                              Colors

Colors dancing all around

When Autumn comes with its wand

It colors the beautiful leaves in the land

The green, blah, it’s just so old

The trees, they need colors more than bold   

Colors pretty, changing the world                              But sadly, soon enough they'll fall     Fall is coming, in case you weren't told                    Leaving the trees barren and tall

                                                                               The ground will be littered with leaves

                                                                       All beautiful colors that have left the trees

                                                                               But one thing’s for sure

                                                                                That Fall will most certainly lure

                                                                                Colors back into the world
