"To Travel is to live." - Hans Christian Andersen

It was a crisp, cool, December day in the land of Oregon, but it will be an exciting day for the boy with the lightning powers. His name is Colin and he loves animals, especially dinosaurs.

While he was eating breakfast he was watching the news, and the reporter said something that caught his attention.
"There has been a newly discovered dinosaur here in Oregon, and scientists are looking into experimenting with it." Colin realized that he must save the dinosaur from being taken away from its natural habitat.

Colin decided to call his older brother, Jayson.
"Did you see the news?" Colin exclaimed over the phone. "They are taking the new dinosaur! We have to do something!"
"Colin there is nothing we can do, the scientists have already put the dinosaur on a train to the lab," Jayson exclaimed over the phone. Jayson hung up the phone and Colin was left to deal the crisis on his own.

Colin knew that the train station was by the end of the creek in Clatsop State forest He rushed through the rest of his breakfast and started his adventure. The forest was as thick as a bowl of oatmeal. After a few hours of walking through the forest, he was a little bit frightened. He remembered that he was a brave kid and that he must save what he loved, which was dinosaurs. He soon came across the beast of the forest.

Colin heard a low grumble come from the thick of the forest trees and bushes. He quietly threaded around the bushes and examined the frightful sight in the frigid forest. The beastly noise grew louder and so did Colin's fear of the beast.

Colin activated his lightning powers as he approached the noises coming from the beast. Colin turned the corner and what he saw next shocked him. The shadow grew bigger until it revealed that it was a dog named Riot. In its mouth it carried what looked a rope.

Riot carried the rope to Colin as if he was offering it to him. Right when Colin grabbed it, Riot pulled the rope away, which led into a game of tug-of-war. After five minutes of playing, Colin decided it was best to befriend the dog and head forth towards the end of the creek.

Colin and his new companion walked along the side of the windy, twisty creek, through the cold air. Once they came to the end of the creek, the trees of the forest were no longer smothering them and they were greeted by the train station's tin house that had been there for so long, it started to rust.
