Let me tell you the story of Lennie and 

George. Lennie, a moonstruck, 

unhinged man who is a kin of George, a 

affectionate, neighborly man. They 

both saw a pond filled with green.

While Lennie and George were trotting 

down the road, they saw a green-filled 

pond made out of fresh water. The two 

gentlemen sat down in the grass and 

drank pints of the pond's fresh water. 

They sat and sat until the sunset when 

they laid down in the grass fond of 

their friendship. While the sunset was 

going, Lennie dreamed and visioned of 

a ranch that they owned.

He dreamed of a beautiful sky and the 

sun shining down on his magnificent 

ranch. He would wake up and see the 

sun shine down. He would smile and 

start working at the ranch grinding up 

wheat and being in charge.

And then, a magical moment happened 

that changed their lives forever. They 

suddenly were workers at a ranch in 

charge by Slim and Curley's father. A 

sense of realism went through them. 

They were not gonna live strong 

anymore.
