Back in 1919 January 15th in Boston, a storage tank has fallen that had 2 million gallons of Molasses that were flowing down into the city and streets. It caused terrible damage and killed 21 people, and injured about 150 people.

When the Molasses Flood ended it took about 6 months to clean up. They had to dump millions and millions of saltwater to clean up the Molasses. It left the place brown for several months.

The Molasses flood was SUPER deadly because the steel tank was full of Molasses that has crushed several different homes and buildings. Molasses is like syrup in a way, but it is super thick, sticky, and heavy.

Shocking News to most about a dead 10-year-old boy found in the Molasses tank after collapsed. He was found buried beneath a pile of Molasses barrels near where it wrecked at.
