Food from the Egyptian kitchen

Food in Egypt
Egyptian cuisine is famous for its special Egyptian taste with some rich influences that enrich it, especially the Turkish and Levantine influences (Syria), and the Mediterranean countries (Italy). Many Egyptian foods have been in existence for thousands of years by the Egyptians, such as the bread that the Egyptians call mushaltet and omelette (The baladi bread), the beans, the kiosk, the besara, and the feast cakes for the Egyptians on Eid al-Fitr.
Egyptian cuisine is divided into sub-kitchens in which regular Egyptian food is spread, in addition to special dishes such as Alexandrian (sea), Saidi (tribal) cuisine, peasant (rural) cuisine, Bedouin cuisine (influenced by the Arab Gulf cuisine) , and popular cuisine. As for the capital, it is a mixture of former kitchens in addition to Italian, Indian, Gulf and Levantine cuisine. We rarely find French or East Asian cuisine. The Egyptian cuisine affected the countries, so dishes such as fava beans, falafel, shakshouka, Umm Ali, khak and others were transferred to countries. The Turkish kitchen added to the Egyptian kitchen, such as kofta, shawarma, and sweets such as baklava.
