The German subs were coming in the middle of the night.

Chapter 1

Philip was asking so many questions about war to his dad.

Chapter 2

Philips mom really wants to go to Miami then Virginia so Philips mom and dad were talking.

They boarded the ship to go home leaving their dad.

Chapter 3

They were torpedoed at about 3 A.M

Philip got hit in the head by a piece of wood.

He got rescued by a tall old man named Timothy.

Chapter 4

Then Philip and Timothy went to bed.

Philip couldn't see his hand..... HE WAS BLIND!!!

Timothy heard an aircraft, got a torch and tried to signal it. It just got away.

Chapter 5

They saw a bird called a Blue Footed Booby. Timothy said that means they are close to shore.

Chapter 6

Timothy saw an island and it made Philip so happy that he fell out.

Timothy got really mad. He pulled Philip back in the boat by his hair and arm.

Chapter 7

Timothy jumped out of the raft and kicked the boat to land.

Philip got scared and yelled for Timothy after he walked along the Cay. When Timothy got back Philip yelled at him.

Chapter 8

Timothy was making a hut on the island.

They roasted the Langosta that Timothy caught earlier.

Chapter 9

Philip told Timothy to call him Philip. Timothy said '' Phileep.''

Chapter 10

Timothy and Philip were over joyed because they could get the freshwater.

In the morning they cooked a little fish.
