Most Christians refer to the week before Easter as "Holy Week", which contains the days of the Easter Triduum, including Maundy Thursday, commemorating the Maundy and Last Supper, as well as Good Friday, commemorating the crucifixion and death of Jesus. In Western Christianity, Eastertide, or the Easter Season, begins on Easter Sunday and lasts seven weeks, ending with the coming of the 50th day, Pentecost Sunday. In Eastern Christianity, the Paschal season begins on Pascha and ends with the coming of the 40th day, the Feast of the Ascension.
EASTER ACTIVITIES
Boiled eggs are painted at Easter special buns are made for Easter feast.
Candles are lit, prayers are read in churches usually from chocolate and rabbits from chocolate are presented.
In commemorating the Resurrection of Jesus, Easter also celebrates the defeat of death and the hope of salvation. Christian tradition holds that the sins of humanity were paid for by the death of Jesus and that his Resurrection represents the anticipation believers can have in their own resurrection.

23 April is the day that the Grand National Assembly of Turkey was founded in 1920. The national council denounced the government of the Ottoman Sultan Mehmed VI and announced a temporary constitution. During the War of Independence, Grand National Assembly met in Ankara and laid down the foundations of a new, independent, secular and modern republic from the ashes of the Ottoman Empire. Following the defeat of the Allied invasion forces on September 9, 1922 and the signing of the Treaty of Lausanne on July 24, 1923, the Turkish Government started the task of establishing the institutions of a state.
23 April was declared "National Sovereignty Day" on May 2, 1921. Since 1927, the holiday has also been celebrated as a children's day. In 1981, the holiday was officially named "National Sovereignty and Children's Day."
Every year, the children in Turkey celebrate National Sovereignty and Children's Day as a national holiday. Similar to other April events, Children's Day celebrations often take place outdoors. Schools participate in week-long ceremonies marked by performances in all fields in large stadiums watched by the entire nation. Anıtkabir is visited by children and politicians every year. Among the activities on this day, the children send their representatives to replace state officials and high ranking civil servants in their offices. The President, the cabinet ministers, provincial governors, and mayors all turn over their positions to children's representatives. On this day, the children also replace the parliamentarians in the Grand National Assembly and hold a ceremonial special session to discuss matters concerning children's issues.
After UNESCO proclaimed 1979 as the International Year of the Child, Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) organized the first TRT International April 23 Children's Festival. Five countries participated in this first celebration of the festival. Over the years, this number grew steadily, resulting in children coming to Turkey from about 50 countries every year to participate in the festival. During their stay in Turkey, the foreign children are housed in Turkish homes and interact with the Turkish children and learn about each other's countries and cultures. The foreign children groups also participate in the special session of the Grand National Assembly.

Ramadan has two different meanings as a word. The first of these is the rain that rains at The end of summer and early autumn and cleans the dust on the ground. Just as the rain Clears the earth, the sins committed by man will be wiped away with the month of Ramadan. The second meaning of Ramadan is the burning of the stones in the face of the severe heat Of the sun. The feet of people who will walk in angry places get burned. There is a lot of Trouble and trouble. Similar to this situation, those who fast endure the fever created by Hunger and thirst. The month of Ramadan burns and destroys the sins of believers, just as The feet of people wandering in angry places burn. In this month, people try to worship More. It tries to avoid bad deeds and mistakes. The Quran is read by gathering together in Mosques and houses. At the end of the month of Ramadan, the Quran is read from Beginning to end and it is recited. Muslims have continued this tradition for centuries. With the month of Ramadan, the gates of mercy open to the end. Cooperation and Solidarity among people increases.
