A dream come true

Three years ago Allyson and Sofia were talking about their dream trips and agreed that they both wanted to travel to New York, they decided to travel together to fulfill that dream, the problem was that they were both minors and their parents would not let them travel alone. A year later they both turned 18 and as a birthday present they asked to travel together to New York and their parents agreed, they were happy because they would achieve something they had always wanted and began to plan everything they would do while they were there.

The long awaited day arrived and their parents went to drop them off at the airport, when they arrived they said goodbye to them and this dreamed trip began. When they arrived in New York a friend of their parents would bring them, but he had problems with his car, so they decided to call a cab driver, the cab picked them up and dropped them off at the hotel where they would be staying for a week. Once in the room they began to plan the places they would visit, such as shopping malls, restaurants, etc., they made a list since they didn't want to miss anything, they wanted to enjoy as much as possible. It got dark and they decided to go to dinner, they went to Eleven Madison Park, since it is the best restaurant in New York, they decided to order lasagna, since it is their favorite food and at the end they tasted a chocolate dessert. 

When they finished dinner a cab picked them up and took them back to the hotel. When they arrived they realized that it was too expensive to pay for a cab every time they went out, so they decided to rent a car for the time they would be there. Sofia would be in charge of driving as Allyson may not drive. The next day Allyson woke up first and started planning what they would do for the day, she was organizing what they would do and remembered that all her life she had wanted to go to the Statue of Liberty, so she wrote it down on the to do list, while repeating in her head "it's going to be a great day".

Allyson and Sofia finished getting ready and started visiting different attractions, their first destination was the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.
