Week 1:

April 23, 2020

Even before the term break starts, my family was in a challenging situation. At first, my Lola was tested positive in her rapid test but eventually came back negative in her swab result. Regardless, my family decided to quarantine ourselves. 

After 14 days my Tito Lo celebrated his birthday together with the whole relatives. We all ate dinner together happily.  But little did we know, our neighbor who was also residing inside the compound has a fever that time.

Our neighbor hide the truth in the whole compound. None of us knows yet they still interact with the rest of the compound. Until March 26, a news spread out after an emergency ambulance came in the compound. Their whole family was tested positive in the swab test. 

After this incident, the families in the compound got alarmed and started to quarantine. We all undergo on a rapid test. Thankfully, we got a negative result.

Just as we thought we are safe, some of us got a fever after several days, others has a cough and some lost their sense of smell and, I am one of them. 

Just before the March ended, I already have a cough. I didn't take it seriously because I normally have a dry cough every morning. But it became severe as the days goes by. And then midnight of April 2, I had a fever. Later on that day, as I was having my brunch, I have observe that I couldn't taste the food and so does my sense of smell.
