"Headed to the Beach"

Ally woke up on a bright summer morning.

Her first thought was "It's beach day!" 

She walked in the kitchen to see her grandma had made pancakes for breakfast! 

"Eat up!" grandma said, "We have a big day ahead of us and lots to prepare for"

Ally knew there was lots to do on beach days.

Once she ate her pancake breakfast, Ally went to her bathroom to brush her teeth and comb her hair. 

First, she picked out her favorite swimsuit and sandals to wear to the beach.

Next, Ally packed her beach bag. Every beach bag should include toys, towels, sunscreen, and of course snacks!

Before leaving the house, Ally's grandma helped her apply the first layer of sunscreen.

That Texas heat is no joke!

Her grandma also made sure to tie Ally's hair up in a ponytail to avoid tangles from the ocean water and beach waves. 

Next, Ally and her grandma loaded the car with the beach essentials.
