This is a story that takes place at Sunshine Elementary School in Mrs. Lyons' first grade classroom. Grant is a six year old boy who is struggling with his hearing. One of his classmates, Delilah, has a hearing loss, has hearing aids, boots, and a microphone. Grant has a master plan to make people realize that he has a hearing loss. Throughout the book, Grant learns how to advocate for himself.
