The series revolves around Lucifer who leaves Hell with his demon friend Mazikeen and goes to the city of Los Angeles, where he runs his own nightclub and becomes a consultant fot the Los Angeles Police Department

While in the city of Los Angeles he meets a detective named Chloe, for whom he has a great interest, because she is not like other girls he met, so she helps him in the cases assigned to him, sice they have a danger constant

But he must not only take care if her for his work, but also from the demonic and heavenly threats, since Lucifer didn't fulfill the task of taking care of hell and thus maintain his balance, so when the balance is broken the angels whor are his brothers they are going to look for him to make him return to hell and they are looking for any way to do it.

Being overly emotionally charged, Lucifer looks for a psychologist ti help him and tell him what he needs to do with his brothers so that he will tell them that he does not want to go back to hell and saty in the city of Los Angeles, also in regards to the detective to know that feeling for her, since it was not common for him to feel that.

She's a homicide detective who works in Los Angeles as a member of the Los Angeles Police Department, she has a daughter and is divorced, she is immune to Lucifer's powers which makes her very special.
