It was a cold and snowy day out but Harry did not care. He was going to make a snowman with his friend, Hermione. For now, he was studying.

The second Harry put down his book his friend Hermione came bursting through the door. ''It is time to build our snowman!" she said, smiling. She was dressed in a scarf and a hat.

Once outside the two friends began. Once they finished they put Hermione's scarf and hat on the snowman. The snowman looked great.

Harry and Hermione rushed back into the castle longing for warmth and hot cocoa. But by the time they had finished the cocoa, everybody was in bed. They silently crept back to their dorms and tried to get some good sleep for tomorrow was Christmas day!

The next morning Harry woke up to open his presents. He ripped open the wrapping paper of one and found a party outfit. I will wear this one to the dance tonight he thought.
