My mind went blank, my skin was covered in goosebumps. There I was, stuck in a motionless trance. I never intended for things to go this far. A simple game of truth or dare lead to a lifeless body, drenched in blood. I couldn't believe what had happened. That morning was a regular amazing morning that turned into the worst night of my life. Let's start from the beginning.

What? Today was supposed to be great day not end up as a crime scene...Ahh!

It was my best friend, Jessy's 20th Birthday! I couldn't wait to surprise her with a surprise party. In the morning I bought her a box of doughnuts and gave it to her at school. I had planned a perfect day for her! Later, after school, I headed over to her house. We got ready because I told her I was going to take her out for dinner. It was the perfect plan for her to get surprised! I was so excited. Meanwhile, at my house, my brother set up the decorations like helium balloons and colorful streamers. I invited all of the seniors to the party!

We had games, drinks, snacks and much more! We headed over to my house because I told her I forgot my purse just so that we could leave her house. Everything was ready to surprise her! My friends, brother, and seniors were there waiting to surprise Jessy. As we stepped in, you felt happiness in the air. "Surprise Jessy!" She was yelled at by everyone as they jumped up laughing. Jessy was smiling from ear to ear, her eyes were gleaming. I knew she loved it! We sang her happy birthday as she blew out her candle with tears of happiness rolling down her cheek.
