May 26, 2021, was one of my most awaited dates. 

Guess the reason why? 

It's scholarship grant/payout day.

Finally, after a long process of preparation, submitting requirements, and answering Frequently Asked Questions from scholars, we are now going to get the payout. 

Well, I  think it seems like a payday feeling for those who are already working.

Moving on, it was already a sweltering afternoon. We conducted the program headed by me, the President of the Scholars' Association in our barangay.

 Honestly, it was so fulfilling to speak with the people to whom you know you can relate. I prepared a short speech in which I said that I recognized the efforts and decisions making of everyone.

Choosing to continue to study amidst pandemic is already a big decision, and at some point, it is risky. Knowing that many individuals lost their jobs, our country had is a drastic fall in the economy. In addition, I also greeted them enthusiastically with a "Congratulations!" for all the efforts they were doing in their academic and maintaining the ceiling average needed in the Scholars' Association. 

After the program, the most awaited part, which is giving the grant, has occurred. 

We are all excited, and who's not? Right?

As the event successfully ended, I was with the barangay staff to keep all the things we've used in the event.  It is essential to show respect to the following uses of the said event place: Barangay Hall.
