Frankenstein's First Christmas

By Grace Schweitzer

Twas the night before Frankenstein's first-ever Christmas.
He was hoping it would be just like his favorite holiday, Halloween!

When he finally awoke from his dreams of jackolanterns and all the candy he could ever eat, he walked downstairs to get a sip of water.

He was surprised to see a beautiful tree with mountains of presents under it.

Where are the bats? Where are the pumpkins? The candy corn? The costumes?

He found a tiny note sticking out from the cookies he baked with his parents the night before.

It was from a man named Santa!

He told Frankenstein that he was a very nice monster this year and in return he left him gifts all the way from the North Pole.

Santa's Nice list!
Frankenstein

Too excited to wait, Frankenstein ripped open all of his gifts!

He got the franken-train he had been wanting for months!
