Once upon a time, there was a little girl by the name of Jill. She lived with her mother and father in a small town. They were very poor so it was difficult to provide enough food for the family to be comfortable and happy. One day her parents decided that they had to sell their cow because it was not producing any milk. 

The following day, Jill was asked by her parents to bring the cow to the market for sale. They would use the money to purchase  some food. Jill was sad but she never disobeyed her mom and dad. She did exactly what she was told to do.

As she walked through the town she met an old man  who enquired  about the cow. "I'm taking her to the market for sale." Jill told the old man. "I'm very interested in purchasing your cow," replied the old man. "All I have though are three magic beans."  He continued.

Jill thought about it for a moment and then agreed. She gave him the cow, collected the magic beans and ran off to tell her parents.

When she got home she showed the beans to her parents. "Mom, dad, look, I got some magic beans in exchange for the cow!" Jill exclaimed. "What are you talking about?" her mom stuttered. "Did you get the food?" asked her dad. ''I forgot,'' she muttered. Her parents were furious. Her father took the beans and  tossed them out  the window.

During the night the beans grew

and grew!

The next morning, Jill saw the beanstalk and was curious to see how far it had grown so she began to climb.

When Jill got to very top, she was amazed by what she saw. There was a beautiful castle at the top of the beanstalk. She knocked on the door and a ginormous lady opened it. She was the wife of a giant. "How can I help you?" she asked. " My name is Stephanie," she continued. In a friendly voice Jill answered, ''Hello, I'm Jill." She continued by asking Stephanie if she had any food.
