Two years ago, we traveled to Santa Maria, with my family aboard a pickup truck, to start the trip we bundled up with a jacket, caps and gloves, we left at 7:00 pm, it was a wonderful night since the moon was lighting up Our trip from the top of the sky, approximately two hours away we arrived at the snowy huaytapallana,  

Where we appreciated the imposing snow-capped mountain that shone with the moon, 

5 km away we crossed two beautiful lagoons, they were like immense mirrors where the majestic moon reflected which guardian and guide of our trip.

After 4 hours of travel we began to travel the 33 curves to cross the Mantaro river.

Hours later we arrived at Santa Maria, where the climate changed abruptly, the warmth was felt.

The next morning in the distance we observed the different snow-capped mountains at sunset, 

And we walked in my father's farm we looked at his cows and other domestic animals and the vegetation,

at 10:00 am we left to visit the AMARO cloud forest, the cradle of wonderful orchids and the habitat of the spectacled bear.
