WELCOME TO BURDUR

Burdur is one of the unique cities that come to the forefront with its natural and historical beauties. The lakes are at the forefront of Burdur's natural beauties, located in the region known as the Lakes Region. Salda Lake and Burdur Lake are among the natural lakes that can be visited in the city. Lisinia Nature Park is one of the places where excursion activities take place. TAŞ ROOM MANSION, Burdur Natural History Museum and Sagalassos Ancient City are among the top places to visit in Burdur.

SALDA LAKE AND BURDUR LAKE

In addition to the beautiful scenery created by the cleanliness of the water and its turquoise color, the small beaches on the southwest and southeast coasts allow the area to be used for recreational purposes. Salda Lake is located approximately 60 km west of Burdur province. It is known as the deepest, cleanest and clearest lake in Turkey. Its height above sea level is 1140 m. The presence of magnesium, soda and clay in the composition of the lake water causes beneficial results in the treatment of some skin diseases. According to research by experts, lake water is good for acne.
