It was on Saturday 06 April 2017 that began my experiment. I bought some banana fruit in a shop near my  house. I got two kilogram. They were so fresh and big. It was my luck that I got them because I usually found the empty stock when going to the shop.

In my house, which was located on Kusumanegara street, I peeled the fruits and ate them with my roommate.

He said that it was very delicious. It made us full. All we left was the rind.

Since I had never made it. I followed the instructios carefully. What I poured were water, sugar, and rind with the comparison water and banana peel is 1: 1. After that, mix the banana peel solution with a solution of sugar and bacteria to stimulate the process of breaking down the compounds in the banana peel. After that, the solution is allowed to stand for 3 to 4 days so that the fermentation process occurs. Then, I stirred the ingredients and closed tightly

The journey was begun. There were some dramatic events during the 7 day fermentation process of ethanol. 

Based on sustaination, the experiment was active to produce methanol in the third day. I had to release the gas regularly by opening the bottle cap approximately in five second. I did it be carefully.

One day I forgot to open the cap. When I found the plastic bottle, it was very harsh. It was too full of gas. I directly opened it.
