When Star entered her class, Miss Daisy gave Star a big hug.

 She said, “Good morning, pretty Star!"

Miss Daisy is Star’s teacher. She was tall, dark-skinned and kind, with big eyes and kinky hair. 

After, Star looked around her class. Billy is not there, she thought. I will have a happy day!

Star hopped happily to the play center and took a brown teddy bear.

 She said happily, “ Finally, I get to play with the teddy bear!”

Soon after,  in came Billy. He looked at Star with a very angry face. He was tall,  fair, with brown hair and a mean face. Star dropped the teddy bear and run under a yellow desk. 

Miss Daisy looked and said, “Star, why are you

 hiding ?” 

Billy answered and said, “ We are playing hide and seek, Miss Daisy.”

" Oh, that is a fun game," she said with joy.

 Billy lied to Miss Daisy. 

When Miss Daisy turned, Billy grabbed the teddy bear. He played with the other toys but he never dropped the teddy bear. 

After, he called Star and showed her the teddy bear. 

Then he sang, “ Star you are ugly, you won’t play with Teddy.” 

All Billy’s friends were there. They started laughing. 

 Miss Daisy heard.

Now I know why Star was unhappy. It is Billy.  He is a bully. Billy makes fun of Star. This makes her sad and this is why she does not like school.

How can I solve this problem? thought Miss Daisy.  Let me speak to Billy.

“Billy, can you please come?” asked Miss Daisy.

Billy skipped happily to Miss Daisy.

“Billy, why did you say this to Star?” asked Miss Daisy.

“I do not know, teacher,” said Billy.

“How do you think she feels?” asked Miss Daisy.

“Sad. That is how I feel every time my sister is mean to me,” said Billy.
