Until the day I spilled chocolate 

syrup on one of my close 

friends.

It all started with Bobby Clarke, I was 9.He 

had a great life compared to mine.

I was making a sundae and he came out to 

brag about his new baseball glove, and 

how his mom is still alive.

He upset me, and so I decided to pour this 

batch of chocolate all over him. Much after 

that was blurry.

My parents took me somewhere no kid my 

age should have gone.

While I was there I met some kids like me, 

and I met some kids not like me at all.

I got out a few years later, with no friends, 

and a new name.

My family and I now lived in Indiana, and I 

started school for the first time in my life.
