GASTRONOMY 

Colombia offers a good and elaborated meal at excellent prices, among the most representative regional dishes are the ajiaco santafereño, the tray paisa, the mote de queso, the lechona tolimense, the mamona or veal a la llanera, the mute santandereano, the tamal and the fish, especially in the coastal regions.

Barranquilla Carnival

It is the largest carnival in the world in size, after the Rio Carnival. It is celebrated in the second week of February during four days, from Saturday to Tuesday before Ash Wednesday.

Cumbia Festival

This festival is considered as Cultural Heritage of the Nation, during its celebration, contests of comparsas, cumbia dance couples and unreleased song.

National Festival and Coffee Reign 

Held annually in Calarcá, Quindío. Within the great national coffee festival the reign of coffee is celebrated. Other events that take place are the central parade of yipaos, zone theater meeting, recreation events in the square, craft samples and horseback riding.

Within its schedule highlights The parade, the parade of the Cali Viejo, Bullfights, the bars, the commoner reign, the fair of sports and recreation, meeting of music lovers and salsa lovers, chiquiferia and Super Concert .

The Vallenato Legend Festival

It is defined as an event that works and aims for the defense and dissemination of folk and popular music called Vallenato expression in its four air, Paseo, Merengue, Puya and Son.

Salt mines of Nemocón, Cundinamarca

A few kilometers from Bogotá, you can reach this place to explore the salt mines that are open to the public, where you can appreciate the incredible pools of water adequate with beautiful lighting.
