Sarojini Naidu

* Sarojini Naidu, who is known as 'the Nightingale of India' was one of the prominent women who participated in the freedom struggle of India.

* She was born on 13 February 1879 in a Bengali  family in Hyderabad. 

* Sarojini Naidu joined the Indian Independence Movement in 1905. 

* she joined the Satyagraha Movement that was led by of Mahatma Gandhi.
