It is my holidays. I am going to stay with Grandma for the holidays.

Next day evening Smriti's grandma calls her to dress up and come to her friend's house.

Come Smriti, let's go to Malati aunty's house. She called me to see her Golu for Navratri.

Ok grandma.

Yes.It is colourful too.

A few more of Grandma's friends came too.Everyone was wearing traditional dress like saree, dhoti, pattu pavadai and so on. Malati aunty gave us yummy sundal to eat and flowers for our hair. Then all of us sat around the Golu and sang devotional songs. Malati aunty played the Veena and her son played the Mridangam. Sheela aunty played the Violin and her husband played the Ghatam. The music they played was so beautiful.

Violin- string instrument played using a bow.
