It was a beautiful Tuesday morning. The sun was shinning and the birds were chirping. Suzy woke up to the beeping of her alarm clock.

Today was not your typical Tuesday. It was the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November, also known as National Election Day in the USA. 

Today was also the day Suzy would be giving her final election speech, before her class voted for their new president. 

Suzy was excited for the election and had been campaigning for weeks, she was eager to give her final speech today. 

When Suzy walked into school she ran into her opponent Ben. 

Ben was the most popular boy in school and was loved by everyone. Suzy was the opposite and was very shy.

Ben was up first to give his speech and had the whole audience clapping for him when he finished up.

When it was time for Suzy to give her speech her stomach filled with butterflies. She took a deep breath and recited her speech perfectly from start to finish.
