One sunny day at the dog park, Duke sat waiting for his friends to arrive.

Duke worried that no one would show up to play today. Were they all busy, or already on their way? 

After waiting for a while, Bailey arrived with a smile! Now there are 2 dogs at the park. Duke exclaimed with glee!

Yippee!

There's Buddy! Now there are 3 dogs at the park. That makes Duke want to bark with joy!

Woof, woof!

Here comes Shadow! Now there are 4 dogs at the park.

Fluffy and Daisy just arrived! Now there are 6 dogs. Duke is as happy as a clam!

Tucker and Tille came to the park to play the day away! Now there are 8 dogs. 

Duke wondered when his pal Ollie would arrive with some toys... 3 other friends just trotted in. Let's count the dogs so their fun can begin!

11 dogs! That's a lot! Duke thinks more will still be coming, unless they forgot... 

Wait, there are 2 dogs coming up by the tree. Now how many dogs do you see?

13 dogs! And here comes Ollie, which makes 14! 

Uh oh! It looks like he might have some bad news to share...
