Jimmy was 5 years old when it snowed for the first time in his life.

It was a cold morning, when Jimmy woke up to his mom telling him to look out of the window. 

Jimmy couldn't believe his eyes. He was staring at real snow, right outside of his house!

Jimmy had only seen snow in movies, and even at that he always wondered if the snow was real or fake. But today was different...

... because today was his first snow day, and the snow was definitely real.

Jimmy was so excited, he didn't know what to do first. So many thoughts ran through his mind. He wondered...

"What does snow feel like? Is it soft?"

"Is there still school today? 

I can't wait to tell my friends!"

One thing he did know, was that he had to get outside before it stopped snowing!

He grabbed a jacket, and asked his mom if they could go outside.

His whole family joined in, and stepped out into the softest, crunchiest snow.
