It all started back in kindergarten when 

Betty found her worst fear. Betty is  

seven years old. Ever since she was four 

years old, she has always had the 

imagination of living in a fantasy world. 

Betty would always invite her best friend 

Sally to come over to her house and play 

"Who's the Better Nurse" together . Sally 

is 7 years old,   smart and a lovely type of 

person. These girls have been best 

friends for now three years. 

Betty and Sally met back in kindergarten when 

she saw Sally being bullied in the playground 

by an older girl named Scarlett along with her 

two friends. Betty remembers Scarlett saying “ 

Look at her dress, it’s so ugly and she’s such a 

loser having no friends” . Betty felt so bad that 

she went over and defended her. “Leave her 

alone, she didn't do anything to you”! Betty 

shouted. Eventually as time passed by, Sally and 

Betty started being friends. Scarlett is eight 

years old and is very mean to everyone.   No one 

knows why she has this kind of behavior. Ever 

since Betty had first seen Scarlett, she had a bad 

feeling about her.

One sunny morning Betty woke 

up excited to go to school.   The 

only thing she had doubt was it 

being a good day. She had a 

feeling that Scarlett was going 

to do something bad to 

someone. “I wonder who is 

Scarlett going to punk this 

time?” she asked herself while 

getting ready for school. 

On that same day during lunch time, Betty 

and Sally saw Scarlett   and her group of 

friends looking towards them and giggling. 

“What does she want now?” asked Sally. “I 

don’t know but it seems like she is going to 

do something terrible”.   Betty Responded. 

Afterward, they see Scarlett getting up from 

the lunch table and started walking towards 

them. Scarlett walked passed right by them 

and went to some other girls table. Scarlett 

picked up one of the girls lunch and splashed 

it on one of them.In a mad tone, Betty 

finally stood up   “That's It!! , I’m tired of her 

bullying everyone!!” Sally : “Calm down 

Betty!, Take a seat, someday karma will get 

her back.

In the night before Betty went to sleep, 

She took a moment to   think about all 

the danger that Scarlett has caused to 

everyone. She thought about why 

Scarlett cant be a good girl instead of 

being a bad girl.   She asked herself, 

“Why am I scared   to face her and 

prevent her from bullying everyone”. 

As soon as Betty fell asleep, she 

started to have a dream that felt so 

realistic. 

In her dream, she had no clue where she 

was at. The only thing she was able to see 

was a white light sparkling. As she walked 

towards the white light she saw a whole 

new different dimension. She saw a 

gigantic version of Scarlet planning to 

take over the world and have people 

screaming for help. Betty felt so scared 

that she just wanted this dream to be 

over but it couldn't.   Scarlett saw Betty 

and with fear Betty started to run away 

before Scarlett did anything terrible . 

Betty ran as fast as she could until 

she reached into someones 

house.”Where am I”. She thought 

to herself. Some old lady came 

from one of the rooms and said “ 

Hello there, are you the young 

lady I am going to help?” . “Excuse 

me ma’am but who are you?” She 

responded. “Well i am Eva and I 

am here to help you”.

“What do you mean your here to 

help me?”. “Yes, I am here to 

prepare you face your fear”.   Betty 

was not so sure that she started to 

back away. “Excuse me but I have 

no fear to face.” Eva began to walk 

towards her and with a soft tone 

she said “Don't worry, I know that 

you have always been scared of 

Scarlett and you wish there can be 

something done about it and this is 

why I am here to help you. “

Betty: “Yes this is true but how can I face 

her if she bullies everyone?”   “Don't you 

worry Betty but with a bit of magic you will 

have the sufficient power needed to stop 

Scarlett from destroying the city.”   Betty 

wasn't so sure about having super powers 

so she asked, “What kind of powers am I 

available to use and how will I use them. ... 

Wait! Are you sure i have super powers?” 

“Well, with my magic wand I can give you 

any powers you want”. Betty was still not 

sure if this could be real but she ended up 

believing Eva. 

Betty discovered that she only had a 

few days to defeat Scarlett or else 

the whole city will be in danger. Betty 

made her decision on the powers she 

wanted. She asked Eva to take out 

her wand and spare three main 

superpowers around her body.   The 

powers Betty asked for were: 

strength, invisibility and laser beam.  

With these three powers Betty 

thought it was sufficient to beat 

Scarlett. 

Eva wanted Betty to be very trained for her fight with 

Scarlett   so she decided to train her in her backyard.

The first thing she trained her to do was how to use 

her own strength. The next thing was how to be 

invisible. In order to do this, Betty had to stand still 

and have eye contact with the opponent. Her final 

lesson was how to aim right using the laser beam. 

“So Betty, Do you think you are very well trained 

now?”. “Yes, I believe I am well prepared to fight the 

evil crime.” Responded Betty. “Well, In that case you 

will have to face a challenge against me”.   Betty 

accepted the challenge so they both began to fight. 

Betty   started of with some punches. Punches   were 

not enough so she used her laser power and burned 

the tip of her hand so Eva can't do anything. Eva 

gave up and Betty Won. 

“Very well Betty.” said Eva. “Now i will bring 

in Shelby. You will have to challenge her. If 

you beat her, Then you are well prepared to 

face Scarlett , just pretend that she is 

Scarlett.” Shouted Eva.   Betty thought about 

all the danger Scarlett could cause if she 

does not prevent Scarlett from destroying 

the city. She fought   Shelby with so much 

anger. She used her own strength to dodge 

some kicks and punches. After, she turned 

invisible and from behind she used her laser 

power to burn her hand. Shelby's hand started 

to burn so she gave up and ran to get some 

water to cool down her hand. "That was a 

piece of cake" said Betty. 

“Tomorrow is the final challenge you 

will face in order to improve your 

fighting skills. Scarlett is planning to 

take over and I believe you   are very 

prepared to face this challenge and 

prevent her from harming other 

individuals”. said Eva. With no doubt, 

Betty had also believed in herself.
