REALITY
How is "Sexual Abuse" happening?

The Cho Doo-soon Case refers to an assault that took place in Ansan, South-Korea, in December 2008, in which an eight-year-old girl known only as Na-young (pseudonym) was kidnapped and raped by Cho Doo-soon, an old male. This severely damaged the victim's body. Cho was sentenced to 12 years in prison. The sentence was later reduced because the criminal was old. His mental and physical weakness were recognized. The case sparked outrage and protests involving Na-young's parents and many others. After the attack, little Nayoung was severely damaged both physically and mentally. Nayoung has to undergo painful surgeries to restore some severely damaged parts. The 2013 film Hope was made and based on this case.

Mr. Dinh Bang My (former principal of Thanh Son Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities Boarding) was sentenced to 4.5 years for the crime of performing other sexual acts with a person aged full 13 to under 16 years old; 3.5 years imprisonment for obscenity for a person under 16 years old. Although he was the principal of a school, working in an educational environment, he did actions that should have been condemned right at the school. Even the victim was a male student. That was an unacceptable behavior.
