Come and join me experience my life by reading all of the series of journals that I have all throughout. Enjoy!
"To those who inspired it and will not just simply read it."

Hi, thank you for reading. My name is Daniel D. Marquez and I am the owner of this journal. I am currently 20 years old, I live in Quezon City, and I am the youngest of one sibling. I have a bubbly, happy, and talkative type of personality. But the irony is, I am usually keeping that to myself until I personally know the person. The reason for that is because I am introverted and it always makes me shy to socialize. Nevertheless, I always make sure that I presented myself well and make the best impression among all of my first meet-ups.
You can learn more about me by understanding my philosophy in life and that is; "Money is the root of all evil". It is rest assured that I will never lie and deceive for money because if I let myself be tempted with any amount, I might as well let myself be tempted with anything else, for the love of money is the root of all evil.

I've realized how much important it is to understand yourself because you cannot move forward if you have an unsettled past. The way we understand, respond and value the needs of our mind reflects and manifests through our interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships.
Join me as a unfold the secrets of my life.

Today, I watched the video that my professor had instructed us to watch. The video is titled, "Bakit Iba't-iba Ang Ugali ng Bawat Tao" which was explained by Dr. Iris Radev from Filipino Success Movement. The video revolved around one of the most famous theories in the world, hierarchy of needs by Abraham Maslow. It aims to explain and understand the different behavior that we may encounter in other people and in ourselves.
Why do other people have different views, perspectives, approaches, and behavior? Why do people react differently in a similar situation? What makes them who they are today? What molded them? What makes other people perceive things negatively and positively?
Who shaped me?
According to the video, the differences that we have, despite being under one race, reflect on how we are brought up to the world when we are young. Everything is caused by our PAST experiences. And what shaped us today is the environment and type of life that we had experienced before. That explains why, despite all of us being Filipino, we still have our own differences in terms of behavior, value, and more. It is the reason for our individuality and it is important for us to acknowledge and consider our past experiences because if we let them be unsolved, then it will manifest and affect the current and future relationships that we have with other people and within ourselves as well.
Our individuality can be explained through Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs which is divided into 6 different parts:
1. Physiological
2. Safety
3. Love/Belonging
4. Esteem
5. Actualization
6. Transcendence
