Ancient Story
According to ancient legend, when seeing the country being invaded by foreign invaders, Ngoc Hoang sent the dragon family to earth to help the people fight the enemy. However, after defeating the enemy, the dragon family did not return to heaven but stayed on earth. The location of the dragon house landed here, spewing out thousands of pearls and forming what is now Ha Long Bay

02. Geographic Location

Geographically, Ha Long Bay is a part of the Gulf of Tonkin, located on the North Shore of Vietnam. The southwest is bordered by the Cat Ba archipelago, the part bordering the sea is 120 km long. The total area of the bay is about 1,500 square kilometers, including 1,969 large and small islands, of which nearly 1,000 islands have been named. From Ha Long wharf, the ship or sailboat of the travel company takes visitors on a journey of traveling to the mountains.

About 8km from Ha Long city is Van Canh Island, also known as Canh Doc Island. Van Canh Island is 189 meters high, shaped like a throne. The island has two beautiful caves, Dau Go cave lying precariously on high and the mysterious Thien Cung cave about 100m apart and connected by winding and winding paths. Visitors to Thien Cung cave will be captivated by the splendid beauty and diversity of masterpieces that can only be made by the Creator's hands.

a. Explore a floating village
Amidst the blue sky of Ha Long, Cua Van fishing village (located in Tung Sau valley, Hang Trai island) is surrounded by natural stone islands and many streams.
Cua Van fishing village was voted as one of the 16 most beautiful villages in the world. The area of Cua Van village was formerly the area of two ancient fishing villages, Giang Vong and Truc Vong.


These two villages together with the surrounding islands become an important part of the heritage of Ha Long Bay. Cua Van fishing village is now home to 176 families, with over 750 people, most of whom live mainly by fishing.
When you come here, you will admire the culture of the fishing village and enjoy the specialties here.


B. Paddle out in a kayak
