In the morning, I say good morning to my teacher Mrs. Ruiz and sit down to eat breakfast. I try to eat all my food so I can stay healthy and be able to play with my friends.

During reading time, Mrs. Ruiz is reading a book. I like this book because it has colorful animals. When Mrs. Ruiz asks what's the book title, I raise my hand and answer, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?" I remember the animals and their colors when we all read aloud. My favorite is the blue horse.

During choice time, I decide to draw a picture of a blue horse and me. I don't know how to draw a horse but I will try. I can draw my head, eyes, nose, mouth, hands, and feet. My friends are drawing with me, too. I tell them that I will ride my blue horse at the park. I like to tell them stories.

After drawing I go play with the blocks and build a house for my blue horse. My friends help me build a big house, it falls sometimes but we keep trying. We start making animal noises, we like to pretend we are at a farm with a lot of animals.

It's time to go to the bathroom. We all get in line and wait for our name to be called. My teacher likes checking attendance before we leave the classroom. I know my name is Maria Soto, when my teacher says my name I say, "here" and raise my hand so she can see me. We sing One, two Buckle my Shoe all the way to the bathroom. Mrs. Ruiz is teaching us the numbers with this song.

After bathroom break, I play a memory game with my friends. It's a little hard because I have to find the two cards that match. I have to try to remember the card picture when they are flipped. Mrs. Ruiz said to start with only a couple of cards until it gets easy and than continue adding more cards until we have all of them.

Mrs. Ruiz rang her bell. When she rings her bell it means we have to clean up and get in line because it's time to go outside. I help my friends pick up their toys and put them away. I love to go outside.
