Meet George the Black Panther.
There are ways to classify animals so today we are going to classify black panthers.
The first thing on the classification pyramid is domain. Domain means an area of control or a sphere of knowledge. The domain of a black panther Is an Eukaryote.
The next thing on the classification list is kingdom. Kingdom in taxonomy means a taxonomic category of the second highest rank. The black panther is apart of Kingdom Animalia.
Phylum is next after kingdom. Phylum is a major category of living organisms, or a group of genetically related language families. Black panthers belong phylum Chordata.
After phylum class is next! The definition of class in taxonomy is group of related living things (as plants or animals.) The black panther is in the Mammalia Class.
