Once upon a time, there was a huge dragon that lived in a forest of a town called Peshtigo. 

 The relative location of this town is on the Peshtigo River, about 45 miles (70 km) northeast of Green Bay. 

The town became a fully developed town by the 1870's.

The dragon was a secret king of the town. 

No one in the town knows that he exists but he controls every bit of the town. 

He is the most powerful thing on the lands of Peshtigo. 

It was when the Industrial revolution began.

 The dragon provided  lots of wood for the people to build homes, cook, and for the developing lumber industry. 

He also created a river called the Peshtigo river, which protected the people and gave them plenty of food.  

The town had a comparative advantage over many surrounding towns because the dragon loved the people so much that he gave them many useful materials.

The population of the place was nearly 2000 and there were churches, schoolhouses and several factories. 

The factories produced everything from furniture to clothes. 

They also have a political advantage the other towns because they fear the dragon.

Peshtigo was a thriving town!

The town was a beautiful and healthy place until October 8, 1871. 

The dragon has been observing a lot of people destroying the gift he gave them, the forest. They are building small fires, practicing shifting cultivation, and cutting excessive amounts of wood, which is ruining the big forest. 

The dragon got so furious at the people that he couldn't control his anger. So he slowly started blowing hot smokes and suddenly, there was a roaring sound that was heard and shortly thereafter flames burst from a treeline and began to consume the town.
